The meeting brought together experts and industry leaders to discuss the impacts of Web3, blockchain, and asset tokenization on the emerging digital economy and their potential applications in tourism.


Professor and specialist Ricardo Zago opened the session by presenting key concepts of the new digital economy and showcasing seven practical case studies in both the Brazilian and international tourism markets. The panel also featured insights from Marcos Vilas Boas, President of the Brazilian Association of Hotels (ABIH), Tadeu Cunha, Vice President of Technology and Innovation at AVIPAM/Altour Business Travel, and Paulo Regis, CEO of Bankei. The discussion was moderated by Walter Teixeira, President of Skål International Brazil.
