WTM London 2025 to host record-breaking Ministers’ Summit

World Travel Market London is set to welcome an unprecedented number of global tourism leaders at its 19th annual Ministers’ Summit, taking place on Tuesday, 4th November 2025 at the newly expanded Excel London.

The summit, held in partnership with UN Tourism and the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), will be moderated by Christian Fraser, Chief Presenter at BBC News.

This year’s theme, “Reimagining Tourism Investment Models: Building Next-Generation Incentives”, reflects the industry’s shift towards strategic, resilient, and tech-driven investment approaches. The summit will explore how emerging technologies can unlock new markets, align with national economic agendas, and diversify tourism investment for long-term sustainability.

Following a 12% increase in ministerial attendance in 2024, the 2025 edition is expected to surpass previous records, reinforcing WTM London’s position as the world’s most influential travel event. The summit will be complemented by a robust conference programme including the Sustainability, Geo-economics, Technology, DEAI, and Marketing summits, as well as the unveiling of the WTM Global Travel Report.

Chris Carter-Chapman, WTM London Event Director, emphasised the summit’s role in shaping global tourism policy: "WTM London has an undoubted impact at policy level, leading the way in top-level discussion about the key issues affecting global tourism".
